Songs of Iberoamerica
Daniel Rojas, Piano with special guest vocalist, Paola Monroy
Peninsula favourite and award-winning pianist and composer Daniel Rojas returns with special guest, Colombian soprano Paola Monroy in an exotic musical exploration of Latin America. Bringing their rich lyricism and unshakable rhythmic vibrancy to Latin American songs, folktunes and classic arias from the southern continent, the duo’s irresistible warmth and charismatic charm transport audiences to another world and culture. Paola Monroy’s signature costume changes complement the varying musical genres with texts in several languages, including Amerindian, Spanish, and Portuguese dialects.
This program also features solo piano performances by Daniel Rojas from his many critically acclaimed projects such as his ever-popular album, Bliss of Heaven, Libertango Suite, and Rojas’ off-the-cuff improvisation for which he is renowned

Song and Dance at the Piano
Sydney born pianist, Tony Lee, has gained a reputation as one of Australia's finest young pianists, who seeks to transmit the essence of music and his understanding of it through his playing.
Tony was artist in residence at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth in Belgium from 2014 to 2016 and worked closely with the renowned Portuguese Swiss pianist, Maria-João Pires. Tony currently serves as the Artistic Advisor of the Rising Stars Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.

ACACIA QUARTET
Formed in 2010, Acacia Quartet are one of Australia’s most respected string ensembles. Featuring, Violinists Lisa Stewart and Doreen Cumming, Viola Stefan Duwe and Cello Anna Martin-Scrase, performing a beautiful classical repertoire for PMC.
Acacia has recorded 12 albums, nominated for an APRA-AMCOS Art Music ‘Award for Excellence’ (2013) and Aria Music Awards ‘best classical album’ twice (2013 and 2020). The Acacia Quartet are renowned recording artists with their recordings regularly featured on radio around the world

Drummer and bandleader Andrew Dickeson and his quintet bring their standout show from the Manly Jazz Festival to the Peninsula: the very best of The Duke’s music with classics like Take the A train, It don't mean a thing, Caravan, Don't get around much anymore. and more.
With an all-star band featuring Warwick Alder on trumpet, the legendary Paul “The Chief” Furniss on reeds, Peter Locke on piano, and Brendan Clarke on bass, this swinging quintet will surely delight anyone who loves Duke Ellington's music, for what will undoubtedly be a toe-tapping night to remember
